I'm Andrew Friedman. Surprisingly, this paragraph is about me. I'm now a fifth year
Astronomy Ph.D. student at
Harvard University, having for some reason double majored in
Physics and
Astrophysics at
UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). I'm originally from
San Diego, but slowly warming to glacial
Cambridge. In my day job here, I study cosmology, exploding stars, and the expansion of the universe at the
Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, funded by the
National Science Foundation and
NASA. In the spirit of procrastination, I'm also the editor in chief of the
Harvard Satyrical Press, Harvard's official graduate comedy magazine. (
www.harvardsp.com). If things turn out as planned, I'll soon be teaching astronomy and writing screenplays, in space.
