These are photos of a bunch of random things that I made out of clay when I was a kid. The particular clay was called Sculpey, and it was a kind that came in various colors and hardened when you bake it in the oven. The upper photos are of a full chess set on a marble chess board, and the lower ones are basically an assortment of cartoon animals and strange alien creatures, which were the action figures for many a board game that my younger brother and I would invent together. In some of the lower photos, you'll also find earrings. Believe it or not, between age 9 and 11, I had a little business going where I'd make these earring of various clay animals: cats, penguins, dinosaurs, etc...and I'd go to the hospital with my Dad (he's a cardiologist) and sell them to all the nurses. I actually was taking regular orders and was cleaning house for someone that age. As it happened, at a certain age, the cute little kid thing kind of goes away, so went Clayforms, Inc. the business. And that is the story. A.S.F. 2/10/04
