Here's the cover of David Deutsch's book, "The Fabric Of Reality", for which I wrote a book review published in the Berkeley Scientific Journal's Spring 2001 issue.

The book interweaves quantum physics, evolutionary theory, computer science, and the theory of knowledge to paint a rather compelling picture of our understanding of reality. Most centrally, it discussed the phenomenon of quantum computation, and how the mere possibility of quantum computation necessarily implies the existence of parallel universes! Pretty cool stuff, if you ask me.
